Compassionate Presence for Caregivers is a unique training developed in response to the needs of hospital and hospice patients and their families.  My training as a healer and my hospice experience led me, with the encouragement of good friends, to develop and offer this training.  It is part of my ongoing efforts to offer growth, healing and compassion to those who are facing the loss of someone dear to them, and those who are drawn to serve as caregivers for the ill and the dying.

Who should attend: 

Caregivers, whether professionals, volunteers, or loved ones, who want to increase their ability to be present with, to support, soothe and calm ill, agitated and/or dying patients, in hospice, hospital and home situations.

What you will learn:

*       To develop the capacity  for compassionate presence - the ability to be present with and for the patient, with an open heart

*       To develop the ability to help calm and soothe both yourself and others

 What to bring: 

*       Loose, comfortable clothing (layers recommended)
